BC WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
NCAA FROZEN FOUR

Top-ranked Boston College, the Hockey East regular-season and tourney champions, beat Ferris State 4-1 on Saturday, April 7, 2012  for its fifth NCAA hockey title and third in five seasons.  Boston College (33-10-1) finished with a 19-game winning streak, outscoring its opponents 77-21 during that span.

The Eagles have won the national championship five times - 1949, 2001, 2008, 2010 and 2012.

As is customary for national title winning teams, the Eagles are expected to be invited to the White House.  When details about their visit and Washington-area alumni events are announced by Boston College Athletics and the Alumni Association we will pass them on via EaglesInDC.com, Constant Contact, and FaceBook.
